The secret's out!
So, the big secret is out. I was born February 28, 2005 at 11:54 pm. I weighed in at 5 pounds, 10.8 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long. Daddy snapped a picture of me on the scale...

Mommy was in labor for three days with me. I couldn't make up my mind whether I wanted to come out or stay inside. Finally, Monday night, Mommy had Daddy take her to the hospital. It took a long time for Mommy's labor to progress. But when I finally decided to make my arrival, I did it very quickly.
My arrival was so fast, in fact, that nobody made it to the hospital for my delivery - even Mommy's midwife. The weather was bad and icy, so it was difficult for everyone to get there. I was delivered by the midwife on rounds at the hospital. Her name is Nora Hardy.
It's been a rough week, but I'm getting used to being out. Mommy and Daddy had to take me for two extra billirubin tests because I was jaundiced, but it worked itself out on its own.
Here's some pictures of my first few days:
Mommy and me on my first full day in this world.
Another picture of me on my first full day.
I like to sleep a lot, especially when Mommy's holding me.
But sometimes, I'm awake. This is a picture of me in the hospital on my 2nd day when I was awake and looking around.
Daddy and me sleeping on my first morning at home.
Mommy holding me my first night home. She keeps telling me how perfect I look.
