first night away from home

Mommy and Daddy had a barbecue to go to on Friday, so they shipped me to Grandma Williams' to spend the night. Mommy kept saying how nervous she was to leave me with anyone overnight. I guess it's a good thing she trusts Grandma Williams or else she probably wouldn't have went through with it. Grandma, Grandpa, and I all had a good time. I don't know what Mommy was worried about.

I've started smiling a lot more on my own. It makes Mommy laugh because she says I have a goofy grin like Daddy. I don't know what she's talking about. I think my Daddy is the handsomest guy around! And everybody says that I look just like him, so he has to be handsome because Mommy always tells me how handsome I am.

Sleeping with Mommy is my favorite thing to do from 6 am until 8 am every day.
This was taken this morning.
We decided to sleep in a bit and didn't get up until noon, except for a couple of bottle breaks.
